Paper

We can offer a wide range of sustainable fibres which are ideal for making paper. Did you know that we are a major supplier of flax fibres for the production of banknote paper? The same flax fibres are used to produce cigarette wrapping paper. The main advantage is that flax is stronger than coton and so more resistant to tearing.
We offer beside flax also technical fibres such as Carbon fibres and p-aramid fibres in applications of technical paper.

You can work with two types of carbon fibers: pitch-based type and PAN-based type. Adding only a small amount of carbon fiber offers you already conductive properties to paper sheets. The electric resistance value of paper can be adjusted by changing the mixed amount of carbon fiber. This product becomes also strong and fire-resistant. Therefore, it can be developed for applications with electrical and heat-resistance materials.

Carbon fibres

Aramid pulp is widely used as a substitute for asbestos in paper. This paper is mostly used as insulating paper. The length of the aramid fibre plays an important role on the adhesive properties and the strength of the paper. Just in this field of cutting and milling, Procotex and its sister company Apply Carbon are very strong. We can cut or mill para-aramid fibres from 0.15 mm up to 120mm.
