Natural Recycled Fibres

Natural Recycled Fibres

Materials For A Low Carbon Future

Procotex recycles all kinds of waste of natural fibres and yarns to fibre. The most diverging sectors like to call on Procotex, like the automobile industry, the geotextile industry, the mattress industry, the furniture industry, the drainage industry, the compounding industry…
Proper fibre preparation forms Procotex’s core business. In recent years, Procotex invested in productive and flexible machinery. The focus was especially on automation, weighed blending and obviously environmentally friendly cleaning stations.
Procotex is well known as a reliable supplier of large volumes where the stability of the supply, the exceptional quality (ISO9001:2015) and a market related price prevail. But we also excel in terms of just-in time supplies. Time and again, the customer receives better quality. This also allows us to make the end product even more improved.

Flax fibres are green by nature. But as a 100% renewable raw material, these sustainable fibres are perfect for textile recycling, biodegradable and compostable. Furthermore, they are at the same time exceptionally strong yet very lightweight. Natural fibres are characterised by high rigidity and vibration absorption and a low density compared to glass fibre and other composite fibres. As thermal and acoustic isolator, it offers many ecological benefits and its impact on the environment is limited. Its low abrasions are a strength not to be denied. We also introduced jute and flax granules to promote the increased demand for natural fibres in reinforced compounds.

Processes

  • Cut at random
  • Milling
  • Granulating
  • Pulling
  • Processing with fire retardant and anti-fungal products
  • Pronounced specialization for intimate blending of FLAX-PP or other natural raw materials with PP (first grade or recycled) for composite applications in automobile interior (door panels, shelves, trunk structural parts, etc.

All procedures can also be carried out on commission.
